Louis Van Gaal’s 50th game in charge of Manchester United ended with a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Swansea City, a team the Dutchman hasn’t managed to beat since arriving at Old Trafford. There were plenty of negatives in this Manchester United performance.
The attack looked toothless, Wayne Rooney continued his abject premier league form, Sergio Romero struggled to prove he is a capable replacement for David De Gea and their ineffective use of possession continues to frustrate fans. Manchester United fans who are desperate for some excitement in their play.
