1. What Links Erik ten Hag, Brad Pitt, David Beckham And Mr Bean?

Height.

In one of the least fun but incredibly random facts for you – I present, height-buddies.

Standing at 1.81m tall, or 5 foot 11 inches – Erik ten Hag is what some would call, the most average heighted man.

Imagine a lineup of celebrities all exactly the same height, I know you’re itching to know, “Jack, who would be in that lineup if they were all Erik’s height?!”. OK, ok, I’ll not keep you waiting in suspense any more (pending you didn’t read the title of this paragraph)…

It’s Pointless TV presenter Alexander Armstrong! It’s A-List megastar Taylor Swift! Is that, it can’t be (it is)… It’s Mr Bean himself Rowan Atkinson! There are others, not so famous to you and I (Brad Pitt, David Beckham, Paul McCartney, George Clooney, and someone quite astonishingly calling himself Bad Bunny*).

*I jest, we know Bunny here at FanSided, shoutout to the gang over at Daily DDT and their incredible WrestleMania 39 coverage this past weekend!

In Summary…

I suppose this is a turning point for Manchester United, then: the moment “gen-z” United fans finally get a taste of what it’s like to be a “United glory supporter”. I now have sympathy for older people who are seemingly so easily disappointed when United lose, knowing they’d seen it all before, pre-Fergie. For years I’ve smirked and laughed at those young’uns who have been fed misinformation online – imagine believing United aren’t a big club! – and now Eric ten Hag is here to hopefully shun those myths and bring back some glory, some trophies and some effortlessly cool swag that only Fergie and his chewing gum ever could.
