Cristiano Ronaldo shuts Manchester United chapter
Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly put his £5.5m mansion on sale, officially closing his Manchester United chapter for good.
The Portuguese superstar left Manchester United in an unusual manner back in November, and it now appears as though he doesn’t plan on making a return after putting his mansion in Alderley Edge on sale. The mansion has seven bedrooms and it includes tennis and paddle courts, a Spa room, an indoor swimming pool, a big cinema room, and an impressive gym. The estate agent responsible for the property’s sale describes it as a masterpiece of modern design (via Goal).

The former Real Madrid superstar is considered a legend for both Los Blancos and the Red Devils, but his return to Old Trafford and his eventual forced exit from the club left a bad taste in the mouths of everyone involved.
While Ronaldo’s exit was just four months ago, the recent success of Man United under Erik ten Hag makes the departure feel an eternity old. The Portuguese superstar gave a controversial interview with Piers Morgan where he publically claimed that the Dutch coach betrayed him along with other key figures of the club. This led to the eventual termination of his contract which was stated to be a mutual decision.
Cristiano Ronaldo eventually joined Saudi side Al-Nassr on a two-and-a-half-year contract after experiencing the World Cup with the national side as a free agent. While he seems to be settled and enjoying his new life, Ten Hag’s United have been in tremendous form since.
The emergence of Marcus Rashford taking over the striker’s role led to the 25-year-old scoring 25 goals in 38 appearances for the Premier League giants. The Red Devils are currently sitting just 8 points behind league leaders Arsenal. Meanwhile, defeating Barcelona in the Europa League means that they continue their journey towards achieving a remarkable feat of a quadruple this season, having already won the EFL Cup beating Newcastle and facing West Ham next in the 5th round of FA Cup.
Can Ten Hag’s side achieve the unthinkable quadruple this season?
