Manchester United have made a terrible start to the season and things could go from bad to worse, when they take on Liverpool next. Fortunately for the Red Devils, Jurgen Klopp’s side seem to be struggling as well, and have been lucky to escape with a draw in both their Premier League games this season till now. Thus, this match could be closer than most people expect.

Manchester United have problems beyond the pitch as well though, as it looks like Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave the club, in search of Champions League football.

Initially, it was believed that Manchester United would do their best to hold onto the Portuguese superstar but now, it feels like the situation could be changing.

As reported by The Times ( via Caught Offside), Erik ten Hag is now ready to let Ronaldo go and is understood to be unhappy with the star’s behaviour.

There appears to be a huge twist in Ronaldo’s future at Manchester United

Ronaldo might be nowhere near his best at this stage of his career, at 37 years of age, but he is still arguably Manchester United’s best player.

He was their top scorer last season and came up with some huge moments to guide them into the knockout stages of the Champions League.

At the same time though, there are some big question marks over his fit in this team and those were their last season as well.

But at the same time, letting Ronaldo leave will not only have an impact on the pitch but commercially for the Manchester United brand as well. Thus, it is a decision that the club certainly will not take lightly.

If Ronaldo was to leave, Manchester United need to bring in a striker for sure and they have been recently linked with several forwards.
