Fulham have submitted offer for Manchester United star

Manchester United have already undergone a lot of changes this summer. The club have seen players like Paul Pogba, Edinson Cavani, Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard and a few others leave, not only losing quality but a lot of experience as well. Cristiano Ronaldo is being heavily linked with an exit as well. On the other hand, they have signed Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez till now.

Erik ten Hag has his work cut out for him to say the least, as this is a team that has not won a single trophy in the past five seasons. Manchester United seem to be backing the manager and his ideas though, judging by the signings till now. More new faces are expected to arrive at Old Trafford over the coming weeks.

On the other hand, there are still some who could be on their way out in the near future. One of them is Eric Bailly and it looks like he has options within the Premier League.

As reported by Football Insider, Fulham have submitted an offer for Bailly. The Cottagers seem to be desperate for a centre-back and are believed to have tabled offers for West Ham United’s Issa Diop and Chelsea’s Malang Sarr as well.

On top of his game, Bailly is an excellent defender. Unfortunately, his Manchester United has been derailed as a result of a series of injuries over the years.

He was already struggling for playing time ahead of the likes of Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof, and now with the arrival of Martinez, that is expected to be reduced further.

Thus, Bailly leaving Manchester United seems to be the best step for all parties involved at this point of time. The likes of AS Roma and Sevilla have also been linked with the Ivory Coast international though and as a result, it is hard to see him heading to Fulham.
