Most of the rumours surrounding Manchester United this summer have been about potential incomings and it is not hard to understand why. The Red Devils need to improve a lot if they are to have any chance of competing for titles with clubs like Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea. Even Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur seem to be ahead of them at the moment.

Manchester United have not won a single piece of silverware for five seasons now and new manager, Erik ten Hag will surely be looking to change that.

The club have signed Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez till now, and more arrivals are expected with the club being linked with players like Frenkie de Jong, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Antony and several more.

On the other hand, there could be some who head out of the Old Trafford exit door as well. As reported by CalcioMercato, Juventus have asked Manchester United about the availability of Anthony Martial on loan. But it looks like the path to his exit is blocked by Ten Hag, who wants to evaluate the player and also, there is the possibility that Cristiano Ronaldo could leave this summer.

Martial was one of Manchester United’s standout players in pre-season and as a result, he might have played his way into Ten Hag’s plans.

Not too long ago, Martial leaving Manchester United had looked inevitable, as he had struggled for any kind of form over the past couple of seasons. The Frenchman had even struggled out on loan at Sevilla last season.

But with Ronaldo’s future up in the air, and Martial showing signs of his unfulfilled potential, it looks like a Manchester United exit might not be on the cards for him this summer and Juventus might have to look elsewhere.
