The majority of the rumours surrounding Manchester United right now have been about signings. The club have already managed to bring in Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord. The Dutch international left-back is expected to compete with Luke Shaw and Alex Telles for a starting spot in Erik ten Hag’s team and could prove to be a very smart addition for the Red Devils.

On the other hand, the club have also been linked with the likes of Frenkie de Jong, Antony, Lisandro Martinez and a few other players in recent times, and it remains to be seen how things unfold in that regard over the coming weeks and months.

There are several players headed out of Old Trafford as well though and one area that has been affected the most is their midfield. Paul Pogba, Juan Mata and Nemanja Matic have all ended up departing this summer, and now, it looks like they are going to be joined by another midfielder, although his exit is going to be much less high profile.

As reported by The Courier, Dylan Levitt is locked in advanced talks and it looks like only the finer details remain before he completes a move to Dundee United from Manchester United.

Levitt looks set to leave Manchester United for Dundee United this summer

Levitt had spent the previous season on loan at Dundee United and had a promising time there. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he scored 6 goals and provided an assist in 29 appearances for the Scottish club.

Thus, moving to a side like Dundee United might be a good idea for Levitt, especially in a World Cup year, when he would be looking to play regular football in order to make the Wales national team’s squad.

Levitt was very highly rated while coming through the youth ranks at Old Trafford but his chances of getting first-team minutes are slim to none at the moment, and thus, a move away might be best for all parties involved.
