Manchester United: 3 biggest questions the club need to answer
Is Anthony Elanga already a starter?
One major positive from Ralf Rangnick’s time as the Manchester United manager has been the emergence of Anthony Elanga.
A couple of months back, he was expected to head out on loan with rumours suggesting that Manchester United wanted him to join a Championship club in order to gain some experience of the English game.
Elanga was handed a chance by Rangnick to show what he was capable of in the Manchester United first-team recently though and it is safe to say that he has taken it with both hands and then some.
He has been so impressive that the possibility of letting him leave on loan was ruled out and instead, he has very much become a part of the first-team picture.
In fact, he has arguably been Manchester United’s best player in the past few games and with Marcus Rashford struggling for form in recent times, one has to wonder whether Rangnick should start viewing Elanga as a starter, after how impressive he has been over the last couple of months.
How to score goals consistently?
With the amount of talent that Manchester United have going forward, most would expect them to score for fun.
That has not been the case though. Not even close. In fact, they have struggled to score more than once in most games, since the arrival of Rangnick as interim manager.
Many fans would have been hoping that the club had turned over a new leaf and found their mojo going forward, after scoring four past Leeds United in a recent game. But they drew a blank in their very next Premier League game, against a 19th placed Watford side.
The situation is far from ideal for the Red Devils to say the least and they need to find a way to score more often moving forward.
