Varane has not been at his best but Manchester United will be hoping that the French World Cup winner rediscovers his form soon.
Shaw has struggled to hit the heights of last season and is another player that the club will be hoping starts playing at his best.
Pogba has looked quite good in his first couple of appearances under the management of Rangnick. Let’s see if that run continues.
One would expect McTominay to line up beside Pogba in the game against Southampton.
Sancho’s start to life at Manchester United has been underwhelming to say the least but he has shown signs recently that he is coming into his own, which is brilliant news for the club. Let’s see what the future holds.
Fernandes is another player who has underwhelmed this season and not looked anywhere near his brilliant best. Let’s see if he can get back to his best anytime soon. We know that at the top of his game, he is one of the best players in the Premier League.
Just like Sancho, Rashford has underwhelmed this season but shown signs that he is improving as the season progresses.
Ronaldo was left out of the starting XI against Burnley but it is almost unimaginable that he would be dropped for two straight games. Expect him to be back.
