Manchester United’s chances of winning a trophy are looking very slim at the moment after they were knocked out from the FA Cup by Championship side, Middlesbrough. That was not the end of their problems though as the club then ended up only managing a 1-1 draw against Burnley in their following game. And it is safe to say that they have a mountain to climb right now if they are to finish in the top four of the Premier League.
Of course, one cannot completely rule out the possibility of them winning the Champions League. We have seen clubs change manager in the middle of the season and go on to win Europe’s elite competition in the previous two campaigns.
But considering how Manchester United are playing right now, chances of the Red Devils pulling that off are not looking great at the moment.
Never say never in football but right now, there primary focus has to be on finishing in the top four of the Premier League and for that to happen, there are several problems that they need to solve.
Manchester United: 3 problems the club need to solve
Here are three problems that Manchester United need to solve over the coming weeks and months if they are to finish in the top four:
Putting in good performances over 90 minutes

In the past two games, we have seen Manchester United put in excellent performances in the first half but not taking their chances.
And then, in the second half, they have appeared to completely fade away, allowing their opponents back into the game, after they had looked completely out in the first 45 minutes.
This is an area of their game that Manchester United need to work on. When things are going their way and they are playing to their potential, the Red Devils look like a very good side. Unfortunately, they are struggling to show that over the full 90 minutes.
