Manchester United find themselves in a difficult spot right now with regards to many players in their squad, whose current deals are set to run out in the summer. Ideally, the club would not want to see most of them walk out of Old Trafford as free agents but it remains to be seen how things transpire. The club have an FA Cup fourth round tie coming up against Championship side, Middlesbrough.

It could be a good chance for the Red Devils to give a run out in the park to some of the players who have not played as much but at the same time, they need to put out a competitive team as well because Middlesbrough are a solid side themselves and currently sit at 7th in the Championship table.

One man who looks set to make his return to the pitch after a long absence is Paul Pogba. The Frenchman has been out of action for a while now.

As reported by Manchester Evening News, Pogba is back in Manchester United’s matchday squad for the first time since November.

Pogba set to make his return for Manchester United

Pogba has been out injured for a few months now and has not played a single time since the arrival of Ralf Rangnick as the club’s interim manager.

It will be very interesting to see how he does and where he fits in the German coach’s system. But at the same time, it will be equally interesting to see what the future holds for him off the pitch.

Pogba’s current deal with Manchester United is set to run out in the summer and at this point of time, it does feel like he is set to walk out as a free agent although rumours have suggested that the club are hoping to keep hold of him.
