Manchester United have a difficult task on their hands if they are to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season. At the moment they sit in the 4th position but the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur do have games in hand. As a result, it is safe to say that the Red Devils need to go on a good run of form moving forward if they are to secure one of the Champions League spots.
The Red Devils certainly have the squad to do that and in that department, they appear to be considerably ahead of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotpur.
But Manchester United have just not been able to get it together. It must be said though that the results have improved significantly since the departure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer even if the performances continue to leave a lot to be desired.

Create a link between defence, midfield and attack

One of Manchester United’s biggest problems this season has been the fact that very often, things have appeared to be disjointed.
There does not appear to be a clear link between defence, midfield and attack. As a result, it has an effect on the team’s overall performances and very often, they are left depending on moments of individual brilliance to win games.
Players like Cristiano Ronaldo, David de Gea and a few others have cropped up with them from time-to-time but that cannot continue on. Manchester United need to be playing as a team if they are to finish in the top four.
