While Manchester United may not have signed any players in this January transfer window, it is safe to say that there has not been any lack of loan exits from the club this month. The most notable of them has been Anthony Martial joining Sevilla till the end of the season, after struggling for playing time and form at Old Trafford over the past season-and-a-half. The Frenchman could be helped significantly by this move.
On the other hand, Amad has recently joined Scottish club, Rangers, on loan till the end of the campaign as well and even scored for the Glasgow side on his debut, while also putting in an impressive performance overall.
Donny van de Beek is believed to be closing in on a loan move to Everton as well, who are set to appoint Frank Lampard as their new manager in a bid to avoid relegation this season. Currently they sit at 16th in the Premier League table.
Another Manchester United player who appeared to be on his way out of the club is Phil Jones. And rumours had suggested that talks were advanced with Bordeaux. Now though, things appear to have taken an unexpected turn.
Manchester United star’s loan move has collapsed
Fabrizio Romano has tweeted out regarding the Jones to Bordeaux situation:

It seems that while an agreement had been reached between Manchester United and Bordeaux, it is Jones who has decided to turn down the opportunity to move to the French club.
There were hopes that Jones would get some regular playing time at the Ligue 1 club after spending significant time on the sidelines due to injury over the past couple of years. It does not look like the move will happen now though unless something changes quickly.
It remains to be seen how things turn out in the Jones situation but it is looking far from ideal at the moment.
