Loan exits seem to be the flavour of the week at Manchester United right now. Anthony Martial had been linked with an Old Trafford exit for a while and he finally got a move to Sevilla till the end of the season. Amad has joined Scottish club, Rangers, on a temporary basis as well and even opened his account for the Glasgow side by scoring on his debut and putting in a promising performance as well.

There could be more loan moves away from Manchester United before the January transfer window slams shut in a couple of days though and it is not hard to see why.

There are a number of players at Manchester United who have not got the playing time that they have been looking for for one reason or the other, and thus, they would definitely be helped by a loan spell at a club where they will get some regular playing time.

Now, it remains to be seen if some rumoured deals end up happening or not over the coming hours and days.

It is almost a no brainer for Van de Beek to leave Manchester United on loan this month. He has hardly featured for the Red Devils this season.

When Ralf Rangnick was appointed as the club’s interim manager, many had hoped that it would lead to more minutes on the pitch for the Dutch midfielder. That has not been the case though.

But Manchester United are unlikely to let him leave on a permanent basis before a new manager arrives in the summer. Thus, a loan spell away from Old Trafford might be perfect for Van de Beek.
