Several Manchester United players appear to be headed out of Old Trafford on loan in the final week of the January transfer window. After Anthony Martial joined Sevilla till the end of the season, Amad moved to the Rangers. And now, it looks like another star could exit the Theatre of Dreams on a temporary basis in the form of Donny van de Beek, who has struggled for playing under the management of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as well as Ralf Rangnick.

The Dutch midfielder had arrived at Manchester United from Ajax with a lot of expectations in the summer of 2020. It is safe to say that things have not gone his way till now.

After a disappointing first season with the club, he has barely featured this time around and as a result, a loan move away from Manchester United makes sense for both parties at this point of time.

As reported by Manchester Evening News, Van de Beek is almost certain to leave Manchester United on loan this month and there is concrete interest from three clubs.

There does not appear to be any lack of interest in Van de Beek’s signature despite his underwhelming form since moving to Old Trafford.

Crystal Palace, another Premier League club and an unknown overseas club appear to be in the running to sign the Dutch star on loan before the January transfer window slams shut.

While he might not have enjoyed a great time at Manchester United, there is no question about Van de Beek’s potential and he was one of the most highly-rated youngsters in Europe a few years back, having played a major part in Ajax’s incredible run to the Champions League semi-finals. Thus, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for him.
