After not much movement at Manchester United over the majority of the January transfer window, it looks like things are picking up pace in the final week. Anthony Martial appears set to join Sevilla on loan till the end of the season after struggling at Old Trafford in recent times for form, fitness and playing time. And it appears that other players could potentially leave as well.

There are quite a few players at Manchester United right now who have not made much of an impact on the first-team picture.

And rumours have suggested that some of them are looking for an Old Trafford exit in search of playing time. Donny van de Beek is one such player.

While the Dutch midfielder has mostly been linked with a permanent exit, it might be on a temporary basis that he leaves the club, if he does this January. As tweeted out by Fabrizio Romano, Crystal Palace will push for Van de Beek even though Ralf Rangnick is reluctant to let him leave. Valencia have also asked about the midfielder on loan.

Could Van de Beek leave Manchester United on loan?

Van de Beek had arrived at Manchester United from Ajax with a lot of expectations. But it is safe to say that things have not gone his way till now.

When Ole Gunnar Solskjaer departed the club earlier this season, there were hopes that he could feature more moving forward. But things have not changed much in terms of playing time for the Dutch midfielder since the arrival of Rangnick as interim manager.

Even then, it looks like Manchester United are not ready to include an option to buy in any potential loan deal for Van de Beek as they want him to be a part of the team for the 2022/23 season.
