Manchester United might not be enjoying a great season till now but there is a feeling that they might be slowly but surely bringing things back on track. The 1-0 win over West Ham United meant that they moved ahead of the Hammers in the Premier League table and currently sit at 4th. Not many would have seen this coming even a month or so ago but that’s how quickly things can change in football.

While it might be difficult to bring some silverware to Old Trafford this season, the race for top four is very much on and the Red Devils are firmly in the middle of it along with several other clubs.

With the squad that Manchester Untied have, one would expect them to take things down to the wire at least even if they end up missing out on the Champions League spots. And then, there could be a summer of transformation, with a new long-term manager coming in along with several exits and arrivals.

One player that could head out of Old Trafford soon is Paul Pogba. And Manchester United have been told that his time at the club is done. As reported by Express, Joe Cole said on BT Sport Score:

"“I don’t think Pogba adds anything to this side. His race is run at Man United.“Ever since Bruno Fernandes walked through the door, I think he’s just a percentage better than Pogba in all areas and there’s only room for one of them in the team because of egos.“So I think his time is done. He needs a new challenge. But I’m a big fan of Bruno Fernandes.”"

Manchester United told Pogba’s time is done at Old Trafford

Manchester United brought Pogba to Old Trafford from Juventus in the summer of 2016 in the then world record transfer.

It is safe to say that things have not worked out as expected for the Frenchman since then, who has shown flashes of his incredible ability from time to time, but has been very inconsistent overall.

With Pogba’s contract with Manchester United running out in the summer and an extension not looking on the horizon, it is very possible that he could leave as a free agent soon. Clubs like Barcelona, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and others have been linked with him.
