Manchester United’s results had been on an upturn since the departure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager although the performances continued to underwhelm and disappoint. Now though, it looks like their form has taken a dip once again as well. They lost 1-0 against Wolves and could only manage a 2-2 draw against Aston Villa, despite leading 2-0 beyond the 75th minute mark of the game.
Thus, when they travel to take on Brentford, Manchester United will know that they will need all three points on this occasion. Otherwise, finishing in the top four will become much more difficult than it already is.
Manchester United were missing quite a few players for the trip to Aston Villa but this time around, Ralf Rangnick is expected to have more options available and as a result, the Red Devils would be expected to name a stronger line up against Brentford.
This is a very important game for both sides with Brentford also slowly slipping down the table after a bright start to their season.
Manchester United Predicted XI vs Brentford: Ronaldo returns?
Here’s how we think Ralf Rangnick should line Manchester United up when they take on Brentford away at the Brentford Community Stadium:
David de Gea

One could argue that De Gea has been Manchester United’s most consistent performer this season. While there are many whose form has blown hot and cold, the Spaniard has looked top class from the start of the campaign.
Thus, on current form, it is very hard to see him being dropped from the starting XI anytime in the near future. On several occasions, he has been the one keeping the Red Devils in games almost single-handedly.
As a result, while Manchester United have another great goalkeeper in the form of Dean Henderson, the Englishman has struggled for game time this season.
