There are quite a few players at Manchester United who could do with a spell away on loan from Old Trafford after struggling for first-team minutes at the club. And that is not rare even for some of the club’s most highly-rated youngsters as a result of their incredible squad. Some players have been already sent out on loan in the January transfer window and it would not be a surprise to see a few others follow soon.
Amad is one of those players who could do with some regular football at this stage of his career. He arrived in a big move from Atalanta last season and has already played a bit of football for Manchester United’s senior team, even scoring an important goal against AC Milan in the previous campaign.
He is far away from being a first-team regular though and as a result, he could be helped by a loan move.
It had looked like he was set to join Feyenoord on loan in the summer but it did not end up happening due to an injury. And as reported by Sky Sport, Borussia Dortmund have an eye on the Manchester United youngster.
Borussia Dortmund interested in Manchester United youngster
If Amad ends up on loan at Borussia Dortmund, it would be great news for his development as well as Manchester United.
Several youngsters have developed into top players at Borussia Dortmund in recent years. Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho are two that come to mind immediately although the English winger has had his problems adjusting to life in the Premier League since his summer move to Manchester United.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Amad though as other clubs, both from England and abroad, are believed to be keeping an eye on the Ivory Coast international.
