After Manchester United parted ways with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the appointment of Ralf Rangnick, albeit only as the interim manager till the end of the season, was exciting for the club’s supporters across the globe. While there are still some doubts regarding the appointment and whether or not the German coach is good enough to lead the Red Devils, there is no question that the club were in need of some change.
Manchester United appear to be still coming to grips with Rangnick’s system on the pitch. Off it, it is pretty clear that the legendary German manager is trying to shape the squad.
Rangnick has already spoken clearly about the the futures of Anthony Martial, Edinson Cavani and Donny van de Beek.
And now, it looks like he has informed Amad that the winger is not in his plans for the 2021/22 season. Thus, they would be expected to try and send the talented youngster out on loan in January. Jonathan Shrager tweeted out:
I am told that Rangnick has informed Amad that he is not in his plans for this season, so they will try for a loan move in January

Amad could leave Manchester United on loan this January
Singed from Atalanta last season, Amad has had an up and down time at Manchester United till now.
According to stats from Transfermarkt, he made 8 appearances last season for the senior team, scoring and assisting once each. Impressively, his goal came against AC Milan in a very important game.
Owing to an injury, however, Amad has had an underwhelming 2021/22 season. He was expected to join Feyenoord on loan in the summer. But it did not end up happening as a result of his injury. And he has appeared only once for the Red Devils this time around.
There is no question about his tremendous potential though and a move away on loan could be perfect for the Ivory Coast international at this stage of his career, to help with his development.
