Manchester United will be making their big return to action after a couple of weeks away, due to a Covid breakout in their camp, when they face Newcastle United away from home. Eddie Howe’s side have struggled and currently sit at 19th in the Premier League table. Thus, it is safe to say that the Red Devils will be heavy favourites going into the game.

While the situation was far from ideal for Manchester United, it did give a few of their players a chance to get back to fitness during these couple of weeks away from action, and now, Ralf Rangnick appears to have a nearly fully fit squad to pick his team from.

Thus, it will be very interesting to see what kind of line up he ends up picking against Newcastle United and could give us an idea of the players who have managed to make an impression on the German, since his arrival as the interim manager of the Red Devils.

Also, some of the clubs above Manchester United in the Premier League table have been in terrible form recently and thus, they have a great chance of breaking into the top four with a good run of results.

David de Gea’s return to form has been one of the big stories for Manchester United this season.

Not too long ago, it had looked like the Spanish goalkeeper was well on his way out of the club after struggling with his form for a few seasons.

But this season, De Gea looks back to his very best and there is no question about who Manchester United’s number one is right now.
