Some players could end up leaving Manchester United in the upcoming January transfer window. While the club’s intention regarding bringing in new faces next month is not clear right now, a number of rumours have suggested that the focus of the Red Devils would be more on finding new clubs for players who are struggling to make an impact at Old Trafford right now.

Since the beginning of the 2021/22 season, not every player at Manchester United has gotten a lot of chances. And considering the signings they made in the summer transfer window and their squad depth, especially when it comes to the forwards, it is not hard to see why.

In the current season, Anthony Martial has witnessed a decline in his playing time. With almost half of the season gone, according to stats from Transfermarkt, Martial has played just 359 minutes of football for the club across all competitions in total, scoring just once.

As a result, Martial is believed to be looking to leave the club in the January transfer window. But, as reported by the Daily Mail, Manchester United are yet to receive a concrete offer for the Frenchman.

Manchester United are yet to receive a concrete offer for Martial

Despite being surrounded by a number of rumours, it appears that a concrete offer has not come in for Martial yet. It is believed though that clubs such as Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are interested in making a move for the 26-year-old.

Martial’s contract with Manchester United runs out in the summer of 2024, with there believed to be an option for a further year.

But with the amount of football that he has played lately and now that he appears to be behind Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood in the pecking order, it would not be a surprise to see him leave in the near future.
