Manchester United have plenty of options up top at the moment. Cristiano Ronaldo is without doubt the club’s first-choice striker but the likes of Edinson Cavani, Mason Greenwood, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford are all capable of playing there if the situation calls for it.

That might not remain the case much longer though as several of them are being linked with Old Trafford exits.

Cavani was expected to be the club’s leading striker this season before Ronaldo’s arrival and has barely played much first-team football since then. He has been linked with a move to Barcelona recently.

On the other hand, it has emerged that Martial might very well be looking to leave the club in January itself after falling down the striker pecking order over the past few months. He has been linked with clubs like Atletico Madrid and Juventus.

There have been some suggestions that Barcelona are interested in a potential move for Rashford as well while there have been rumours about Greenwood not being satisfied with his recent playing time.

Goalkeeper

Similar to striker, Manchester United have options between the posts too. They have two brilliant goalkeepers in the form of David de Gea and Dean Henderson.

Both are very capable of being first-team regulars for most clubs in the world and thus, one was expected to leave last summer. But that did not end up happening. This cannot possibly carry on for much longer though.

After De Gea’s tremendous form this season, it does feel like it is Henderson who could be headed out of the club in the near future.

It is believed that he is open to leaving the club as early as this January if the right offer is on the table although the Red Devils do need to bring in a replacement before considering letting him leave.
