Manchester United are set to meet Atletico Madrid in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League this season and it is expected to be a tight affair for sure. The Red Devils have one of the best squads in world football right now but have not been able to meet expectations till now this season. On the other hand, Diego Simeone’s side are the reigning La Liga champions but have not made a great start to their defence of the title and sit at fourth in the league table.
Thus, both sides have reasons to be confident about their chances although the tie is a few months away and it will be interesting to see where the two teams stand at that point of time.

As reported by Eurosport, Atletico Madrid are planning to explore the possibility of an exchange deal for Manchester United’s Anthony Martial. They are believed to be long-term admirers of the French forward.

It has not been mentioned which player or players Atletico Madrid could possibly offer in an exchange deal to sign Martial. And it remains to be seen how the situation develops over the coming weeks, with the January transfer window not far away.
Martial is believed to be looking to leave the club next month though in search of regular playing time, having not played a lot of football this season.
Not too long ago, he was considered as one of the most important players at Manchester United but a lack of form combined with the arrival of other players have meant that he has fallen down the pecking order significantly. Thus, a move away from Old Trafford could lie in his future.
