The status of Manchester United’s upcoming game against Brentford is still unclear. There have been Covid cases in the Red Devils’ camp but the match has not been called off yet. As things stand, it is set to go forward as scheduled unless something changes in the upcoming hours. Thus, it is safe to say that the situation is far from ideal for Ralf Rangnick’s side.

Manchester United have been able to pick up some solid momentum over the past several weeks to the point that they have climbed up to fifth in the Premier League table and are just one point behind fourth placed West Ham United.

Thus, it is safe to say that their next target will surely be to get back into the top four and in that regard, this upcoming game against Brentford could end up playing a big part.

It is very difficult to predict the starting XI for the game when it comes to Manchester United though as it is still not clear who have been affected and are therefore out of action.

Manchester United Predicted XI vs Brentford: Big changes?

Here’s how we think Manchester United could line up when they face Brentford in a very important Premier League game for Ralf Rangnick’s side:

David de Gea is in the middle of a brilliant run of form and has been putting in one great performance after the other this season.

It is hard to believe that just a few months back it was believed that the Spaniard was on his way out of the club after losing his place in the starting XI to Dean Henderson in the second half of last season.

He has made quite a return to form though and at this moment, he is almost undroppable for the Red Devils.
