After their disappointing start to the season, Manchester United decided to part ways with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and that decision has had a positive impact on the results till now. Since the Norwegian manager’s departure, the Red Devils have not tasted defeat, winning four and drawing two of their six games. Ralf Rangnick has also come in as their interim manager till the end of the season.

It is safe to say that things appear to be looking up for Manchester United right now and it will be interesting to see if they can get back into the top four, and possibly even the title race over the coming months.

Rangnick’s arrival has been an opportunity for many Manchester United players for a fresh start. And some of them have already started to make an impression.

Thus, there are many first-team regulars who need to step up their games as well, or they might soon find themselves on the bench.

Wan-Bissaka has been the regular right-back for Manchester United ever since he joined the club in the summer of 2019. But it is safe to say that quite a few questions have been asked about his form in recent times. He has also picked up a couple of injuries over the past several weeks.

On the other hand, Diogo Dalot has come into the starting XI in his absence and grabbed the opportunity with both hands.

The Portuguese full-back has been excellent and must have surely given Rangnick something to think about regarding the right-back spot. There is also a feeling that Dalot might be a better fit in the German’s system than Wan-Bissaka.
