Diogo Dalot

With Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s recent injury, Dalot has come into the team and done a very good job. And now, there could be some solid competition for the right-back spot under the management of Ralf Rangnick.

Eric Bailly

Bailly has not gotten a lot of time on the pitch recently but he has looked pretty solid when he has. He should get another run out in midweek against Young Boys.

Victor Lindelof

Lindelof has played quite a bit of football in recent times, especially due to other players picking up injuries and suspensions. And that run might continue in the Champions League.

Alex Telles

Telles is another player who has not gotten a lot of playing time since arriving at Manchester United. But he has done a brilliant job in the absence of Luke Shaw and has very much put himself in the mix now.

Nemanja Matic

The Manchester United veteran is expected to captain the side against Young Boys.

Scott McTominay

Between Fred and McTominay, it is the former who has shined in recent weeks although the latter has done quite well too. It might be the Brazilian who gets a rest on this occasion.

Juan Mata

The Manchester United veteran has not played a lot of football in recent times and should get a run out in the park against Young Boys.

Donny van de Beek

There have been a lot of calls for Van de Beek to be given a chance. And this might the perfect opportunity for the Dutch midfielder to show what he can do.

Jesse Lingard

After his tremendous loan spell at West Ham United, Lingard was expected to get a lot more chances than he has had this season.

He missed the previous game with a slight injury but has returned to training and is believed to be available for selection.

Mason Greenwood

Greenwood started the season in terrific fashion but has faded away since then. This could be a great opportunity for him to rediscover his form.
