This has been a season filled with lows for Manchester United. But the 4-1 defeat at the hands of Watford feels like the lowest that they have been till now. Going into the game, there were hopes that they could use this game to turn their season around and go on a good run of form. Instead, the Red Devils were handed a convincing defeat by the hosts, who could have scored more than the four goals they did.

It is safe to say that there is tremendous pressure on the shoulders of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer now and many even believe that this might have been his last game in the Manchester United dug out.

It remains to be seen what happens regarding that, but it must be said that it is not just the manager or the coaches who can be blamed for the club’s recent performances.

Bruno Fernandes appears to be of the same view and following the defeat at the hands of Watford, he sent a clear message to Manchester United fans. As reported by the Express, the Portuguese star told beIN SPORTS:

"“It’s everyone’s fault. It’s not the coach, it’s not one player – it’s everyone.“Everyone has to take the responsibility, everyone has to do better.”"

Fernandes sends clear message to Manchester United fans after defeat vs Watford

It is clear that the majority of the questions will be asked about Solskjaer and he looks closer to the Manchester United exit door now than at any other point of time in his run as the club’s manager. Many rumours have even suggested that it is only a matter of time.

Whatever turns out to be the case, it must be pointed out that the players have to take their fair share of responsibility for the results as well. There have been too many mistakes in the recent games where no manager could have done anything.

Fernandes even appeared to have a tense few moments with the fans when Solskjaer was booed when holding his hands up and apologising for the defeat.
