Manchester United interested in €70 million Bundesliga star

Manchester United might have enjoyed a tremendous summer transfer window, bringing in the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane, but they are already being linked with future signings. And that is not hard to see why considering the start that the Red Devils have made to their campaign despite those big signings, current sitting at sixth in the Premier League table.

One summer signing who has struggled to make his mark at Old Trafford till now is Jadon Sancho, who came in from Borussia Dortmund. He is yet to either score or assist for Manchester United.

But it appears that that has not stopped the Red Devils from looking to sign other Bundesliga stars.

As reported by Sport BILD (via Sport Witness), Manchester United are one of the clubs interested in RB Leipzig star Dominik Szoboszlai but will have to pay a transfer fee between €60 million and €70 million to sign him.

Szoboszlai has impressed immensely since arriving at RB Leipzig from RB Salzburg. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 6 goals and provided 3 assists in 15 appearances for the Bundesliga club.

An attacking midfielder capable of playing through the centre or the left, or even the right if the situation calls for it, Szoboszlai is quickly becoming one of the most exciting stars to watch in the Bundesliga.

But considering the amount of talent that Manchester United already have going forward, would a big move for Szoboszlai be the right decision on the part of the Red Devils?

There is no question that he is an incredible talent and at just 21 years of age, would be only expected to get better moving forward. But the big question for Manchester United would be, where would he fit into things at this point of time?
