Paul Pogba’s Manchester United future has been up in the air for a good while now. The French midfield maestro has divided the opinion of fans since rejoining the club in the summer of 2016 and with his contract set to run out at the end of the season, rumours have surrounded him continuously for a while now. Clubs like Real Madrid, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona are believed to be interested in his signature.

He has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford for a few years now but there had been suggestions earlier that Pogba was open to staying at Old Trafford but since then, rumours have emerged that Manchester United have accepted that he will not renew his contract.

It is safe to say that the situation is not quite clear at the moment. But it looks like Pogba might be planning a return to the Serie A in the near future.

As tweeted out by Rudy Galetti, Pogba will leave Manchester United and with Juventus being his plan A although Real Madrid are an option as well but a move to Paris Saint-Germain does not appear to be on the table:

Pogba looks set to leave Manchester United and might be looking for a Juventus return

Many believe that we have never seen the best of Pogba in a Manchester United shirt. There have been periods when he has looked brilliant. The start to this season is a brilliant example of that.

Over the first four or five games, Pogba was almost unplayable at times. In the opening game against Leeds United, he even provided four assists.

But over the last few weeks, he has appeared to fade away and has even found himself on the bench recently. And with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer using a new system against Tottenham Hotspur, it is hard to see where Pogba would fit into things if Manchester United continue to play three at the back moving forward.
