Manchester United are currently experiencing a difficult time. Following the disappointing 5-0 defeat at the hands of Liverpool at Old Trafford last weekend, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s future appears to be up in the air although he has been given some time to turn things around.
Thought to be potential title challengers for the Premier League at the start of the 2021/22 season, Manchester United now find themselves at seventh in the points table with only 14 points from first 9 league games.
More worrying for the Red Devils is their form, as they have lost three and drawn one of their last four matches in the Premier League.
Amid all of this, one player who has continued to struggle for minutes on the pitch is Donny van de Beek. And it looks like a move away from the club in the future should not surprise anybody considering how little football he has played recently.
Van de Beek changes agent as he looks for Manchester United exit
As reported by the Daily Mail, Van de Beek was previously with Guido Albers but has made a change and has now signed up with Ali Dursun, who also looks after Manchester United’s Victor Lindelof as well as FC Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong.
It is believed that Van de Beek is very keen on sealing a move away from Old Trafford after struggling to break into Solskjaer’s starting XI consistently since arriving at the club in the summer of 2020.
According to stats from Transfermarkt, Van de Beek has played just 517 minutes of Premier League football till now.
Thus, it is not hard to understand why he might be looking for a move away from the club. The Dutch midfielder has been linked with the likes of Everton and Wolves recently although it remains to be seen what transpires after his change in agent.
