Manchester United’s start to the season has not been what they would have expected. Coming into the campaign, they were believed to be one of the frontrunners in the Premier League title race and rightfully so.
The Red Devils had finished second in the previous campaign and had added Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Tom Heaton to that squad over the summer. It goes without saying that they have one of the most impressive teams in all of Europe right now.
Yet, results have been very mixed on the pitch till now. Manchester United currently find themselves out of the League Cup, in a tricky spot in their Champions League group and in fourth in the Premier League.
Thus, it is clear that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs to make some changes moving forward. Hopefully, he will make the right ones.
3 big changes Manchester United could make this season
Here are three big changes that Manchester United could make, that could possibly help turn around their season after a disappointing start:
Move Pogba back into the midfield

Paul Pogba has enjoyed a spectacular start to the 2021/22 campaign and it has already been one of his most productive in a Manchester United shirt in terms of assists.
Mostly, we have seen him further up the pitch. But with Marcus Rashford closing in on full fitness and with the likes of Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood, Jesse Lingard and many others at the club capable of playing on the left wing, it might be time to move the French midfield maestro down the pitch into a midfield position.
Of course, that could spell the end of Scott McTominay and Fred as a midfield duo but then, questions have been raised about their form for a while already.
On the other hand, it would probably give Manchester United the best opportunity to get the best out of Pogba’s incredible range of passing while also giving significant minutes to several players capable of playing further up the pitch.
