Manchester United have signed a number of highly-rated youngsters from around the world in recent times. Some of them went on to join the first-team picture right away, while others were sent to the academy for further development.

Two such youngsters that the club signed in the summer of 2020 were Facundo Pellistri and Amad. And while the former is yet to make his debut for Manchester United’s senior team, Amad has already made quite a few appearances for the club, even scoring against AC Milan last season.

It was only in January of this year that Amad arrived in Manchester and he has already shown that he can be a future star at the club. For the time being though, he is not expected to be a regular feature in the first-team and was expected to leave on loan this summer.

That didn’t materialise though as he ended up getting injured. But as tweeted out by Fabrizio Romano, he is set to return to training with the group this month and many clubs are still interested in signing him on loan:

A loan spell away from Manchester United would be great for Amad

Amad has missed the beginning of the 2021/22 campaign due to an injury that, which is also believed to have been the reason behind his loan move to Feyenoord collapsing late on. It is very promising to see that he could be set to make his return to group training soon.

Believed to be one of the most promising young players at the club, a lot is expected from Amad. For him to fulfil his potential though, he will need regular playing time in order to develop and improve.

For that to happen, Old Trafford is not the best place right now as they have one of the deepest and best frontlines in the world. Thus, a loan spell away at a club where he will play regularly is the right step for Amad’s future.
