Manchester United’s start to the season has been underwhelming when you consider how high the expectations were coming in. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side had shown tremendous progress last season and finished second in the Premier League. And after signing the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho in the summer, the Red Devils were expected to be one of the frontrunners in the title race.
To be honest, they are still not far away from the top of the table. At the moment, they sit at fourth, just two points behind Chelsea, one point behind Liverpool and on the same number of points as Manchester City.
The recent performances have left a lot to be desired though and have been a cause for worry. Manchester United have won only two of their last six games across all competitions, and both those games could have gone very differently.
A good run of form though and everything can turn around very quickly. And fans will be hoping that they find their rhythm soon.
3 things that could win Manchester United the Premier League title
Here are three things that could help Manchester United win the Premier League title this season despite an underwhelming start:
Marcus Rashford’s return from injury

Marcus Rashford has been a regular part of this Manchester United team for years now. So much so that it is very easy to forget that he is still just 23 years of age and probably nowhere near his prime as a footballer.
Rashford underwent a shoulder operation after EURO 2020 and has not featured for Solskjaer’s side this season. It goes without saying that the Red Devils have missed him.
He possesses an incredible eye for goal and has only appeared to become better with every passing season. Fortunately, he is getting closer to his return from injury and could very well be the final piece of the puzzle that truly unlocks this Manchester United frontline.
