Manchester United superstar offered to Real Madrid
Manchester United have gone through a stop-start beginning to their season till now. They looked very good in the early part and were sitting at the top of the Premier League table not too long ago. Since then, things have not gone their way though. The club are already out of the League Cup, lost their first game of the UEFA Champions League group stage campaign and have slid down the Premier League table over the last few weeks.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side now find themselves sitting at fourth, behind the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City. Fortunately, the gap is just two points and things can turn around very quickly in football. All they need to do is go on a good run of results.
There appear to be more worries on Manchester United’s hands regarding the future though, specifically revolving around the future of Paul Pogba.
As reported by El Nacional (via Express), Mino Raiola has reached out to Real Madrid to offer them the chance to sign Pogba.
Pogba’s Manchester United future remains up in the air
Pogba has been linked with a Manchester United exit several times over the past few seasons. This time around, things are different though as his current deal runs out next summer and he will be a free agent then unless he signs a contract extension with the club in the future.
Some recent rumours had suggested that Pogba was open to staying at Old Trafford beyond this season following the return of Cristiano Ronaldo but one has to feel that it could all come down to whether they win silverware or not.
Real Madrid are not the only club to have been linked with Pogba in recent times though. The names of FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have been brought up as well.
