It has been a fortnight since the conclusion of the summer transfer window. But for Manchester United fans, there is still a lot of buzz surrounding the club’s new arrivals. The Red Devils have strengthened their squad significantly in recent times. Cristiano Ronaldo, Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho and Tom Heaton have arrived at Old Trafford, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side must now be considered as one of the favourites for the Premier League title.

While Ronaldo and Sancho are expected to have a massive impact in the final third of the pitch, Varane could have a similar impact in defence. It is hard to find another player with the Frenchman’s combination of quality and experience.

He won multiple Champions League titles during his time with Real Madrid as well as the FIFA World Cup with the France national team. This will also play a part in building up winning mentality within the squad.

It looks like the club might have their eyes set on another defender for the future as well, as he has managed to impress during his time in Serie A.

Manchester United and Liverpool are interested in Bremer

As reported by TUTTOmercatoWEB, Torino defender Bremer has drawn the interest of both Manchester United and Liverpool.

Gleison Bremer Silva Nascimento, popularly known just as Bremer, is a Brazilian centre-back who currently plays for Torino. He first made a name for himself at Atletico Mineiro and it was while playing for them, that he caught the eye of the Serie A side, who he joined in 2018.

Since moving to Turin, he has been very impressive. Not only is he a good defender but he has also shown that he has an eye for goal as well. Standing at 6′ 2″, Bremer is a physical presence and good in the air.

He can be a good addition to a team like Manchester United although it does look like the competition for his signature is going to be tough, with Liverpool also interested.
