Manchester United’s new Roy Keane prediction from pundit
It is safe to say that Manchester United are coming off of a sensational summer transfer window as they managed to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Tom Heaton. These additions to an already strong squad mean that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side must be considered as one of the top contenders for the Premier League title this season.
There is not much to say about the quality that these players will bring to the squad. But on top of that, Ronaldo and Varane will be bringing in years of winning experience. The duo were part of a Real Madrid team that won four UEFA Champions League titles in a span of five seasons.
The return of Ronaldo can have a huge impact on this team, not only on the pitch but also off it. And some of the club’s rising stars can benefit from learning from someone like him, who has been at the top of the game for around a decade-and-a-half now.
Danny Mills believes that he could have a similar impact in the dressing room like Roy Keane. As reported by Football Insider, the pundit said:
"“He can have the Zlatan effect at Man United where people said ‘Oh, he’s old, is he going to have the impact?’ It’s not just on the pitch and during the 90 minutes. It’s the professionalism, the attitude, the desire to succeed.“He will raise everyone else’s standards by 10 per cent. He’s a different personality but it’s like Roy Keane going back into that dressing room. There are certain standards that you have to adhere to.”"

Ronaldo could have a huge impact on this Manchester United team
Manchester United have not won a trophy in four seasons now. Thus, they could certainly do with someone like Ronaldo, who has been a winner, wherever he has been through the course of his career.
At 36 years of age, he might not be the prime of his career but he is still a fantastic footballer. Even last season, he finished as the top scorer in the Serie A. And it was just recently that he broke the all-time record for international goals.
But it is not just on the pitch that he will have an impact on this team but off it as well. There are very few footballers in the world who have the experience of the big stage and winning like Ronaldo does.
