Manchester United player will leave in €28 million transfer move
Manchester United are not expected to make any more additions to their squad this summer after having signed Cristiano Ronaldo, Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho and Tom Heaton. But it looks like some Old Trafford departures are very much on the cards.
That is understandable considering the depth of the squad. There are several players who might not get a lot of first-team opportunities this season and as a result, a move away does make sense for them.
One player who has gotten first-team opportunities this season is Daniel James. He has started two of the three Premier League games till now but looks to be on his way out of the club.
As tweeted out by Fabrizio Romano, James to Leeds United is a done deal with the agreement completed for a €28 million transfer fee with add ons and personal terms have been agreed as well.

James set to leave Manchester United in €28 million transfer move
While James has played a decent amount of football during his time at the Theatre of Dreams since arriving from Swansea City in 2019, he has not quite managed to establish himself as a regular in the starting XI. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has made 74 appearances for the club, scoring 9 goals and providing 9 assists.
And now, with Ronaldo set to return to Manchester United, opportunities were expected to be limited for the 23-year-old. As a result, a transfer away makes sense for both the player and the club at this point of time.
The Wales international has been linked with a move to Leeds United for quite some time now and it looks like it is finally set to take place. It will be interesting to see how the youngster does in Marcelo Bielsa’s side but he does seem to have the qualities to succeed in that style of football.
