Worrying Manchester United transfer update emerges
Things are looking up for Manchester United at the moment. The club finished second in the Premier League last season and reached the final of the Europa League as well, showing a lot of progress and proving a difficult side to beat along the way.
Now, with the additions of Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Tom Heaton, the squad appears even stronger this time around and the club must be considered as one of the top contenders for the Premier League title this season.
But it must be said that there are certain positions in the squad that they could still do with additions in. One of them is in the middle of the park. At this moment, Nemanja Matic, Fred and Scott McTominay appear to be the three players who are most likely to feature as part of the double pivot in midfield.
The club have been linked with the likes of Saul Niguez, Eduardo Camavinga and Ruben Neves recently. But as reported by Manchester Evening News, Manchester United are unlikely to make any more signings before the transfer window closes.

Manchester United unlikely to make any more signings this summer
Even if the Red Devils do not make any more signings in this transfer window, they must be very happy with the additions that they have made to their squad already.
Both Varane and Sancho can prove to be game changers while Heaton could possibly have an important role to play in the squad as well. But it is hard not to feel that there are certain areas where they could be a bit stronger than they are at the moment.
The club have not won a trophy in four seasons now. It is safe to say that they would be looking to bring an end to that streak as soon as possible. It remains to be seen if they can do it in this campaign.
