Manchester United make Anthony Martial transfer decision
When Manchester United signed Anthony Martial back in 2015, many believed that he had the potential to become one of the best players in the world in the future and compete for the Ballon d’Or on a regular basis. The transfer fee that the Red Devils shelled out to sign him was the world record for a teenager at that point of time.
It is safe to say that till now, Martial has not managed to reach those lofty heights. Yes, there have been flashes of brilliance. He had a great 2019/20 campaign and it was looking like he could be the long-term answer up top for the club.
But then, he struggled to find the back of the net on a consistent basis in the previous campaign. As a result, at this point of time, Edinson Cavani appears to be ahead of him in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s pecking order.
And now it looks like Manchester United have made a transfer decision regarding the Frenchman. As reported by Mirror, Inter Milan want to sign the 25-year-old on loan for the season and the Red Devils will agree if the Italian giants include an obligation to buy in any arrangement for Martial.

Should Manchester United let Martial leave this summer?
Martial has not been at the top of his game for quite some time now and will need to rediscover his form if he wants to feature regularly in the club’s first-team. But this might not be the right time to let the Frenchman leave.
The Red Devils do not possess much depth at striker at the moment and if Martial departs, there won’t be many options other than Cavani that Solskjaer could go to. And at 34 years of age, the Uruguayan has had his fair share of injury issues in recent times.
Mason Greenwood can play there and has looked impressive in recent times. But when played at striker last season, it did look like he wasn’t quite ready yet to lead the line for the Red Devils.
