Manchester United have built quite a reputation in recent years of signing some of the most highly-rated youngsters from all around the world. It was just last summer that they signed Amad and Facundo Pellistri.

This summer though, they have mostly gone for experience and pedigree. The club have already signed Jadon Sancho, who although still just 21 years of age has a lot of experience under his belt, and Tom Heaton. They have also reached an agreement with Real Madrid for Raphael Varane and that move looks like a matter of time as well.

But now, the club could have an opportunity to make a move for FC Barcelona wonderkid, Ilaix Moriba.

The 18-year-old has only one year left on his current deal with the Spanish giants and has turned down the club’s new offer. It looks like he won’t be available for selection or won’t train with the senior squad until he changes his stance. As reported by Mirror, Joan Laporta said about the situation:

"“I feel bad but the club comes first.“I ask him to reconsider and come to an agreement.”"

Laporta also said that Moriba is free to leave if certain conditions are met:

"“Whoever wants to leave is free to do so. With certain conditions, of course.”"
