Chelsea in talks to sign Manchester United transfer target
Manchester United look set to sign Raphael Varane this summer in what should be a major boost for the club. The Frenchman has been one of the best defenders in Europe for years now.
He has also been one of Real Madrid’s most important players for years. But with just a year left on his deal at the club, a summer exit always seemed like a possibility. And now, it looks like he is headed to Old Trafford.
Of course, signing someone like Varane should be considered as a major coup for the Red Devils. He can be almost a perfect fit in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side as Harry Maguire’s partner in the heart of defence. They could form one of the best defensive duos in world football.
But over the past few months, some rumours have suggested that the Red Devils could be looking to add more than one centre-back to their squad this summer. Jules Kounde is one of the defenders who has been linked with the club for a while now.

Chelsea in talks to sign Manchester United target
As reported by Sky Sports, Chelsea are in talks with Sevilla over signing Kounde.
This could very well be a blow to the Red Devils. As reported by the Daily Mail, the club were looking to bring in both Varane and Kounde this summer.
The 22-year-old French defender has been absolutely sensational in recent times and was one of the best defenders in La Liga last season. As a result, he has drawn interest from some of the biggest clubs in England.
Other than Chelsea and Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with the defender this summer. Manchester City have been linked with him in the past as well.
It goes without saying that Kounde is one of the most highly-rated young defenders in the world right now.
