Manchester United have made a spectacular start to their summer transfer window. The club have already signed Tom Heaton on a free transfer and agreed a deal with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho, who they have had on their radar for years now.

But there could be outgoings as well. And one player who could possibly end up departing Old Trafford this summer is Paul Pogba.

The French midfield maestro has only one year left on his current deal with the Red Devils. As a result, if the club are not able to agree a contract extension with the player in the near future, they might have very little choice but to let him leave this summer. Otherwise, he will become a free agent a year later.

Paris Saint-Germain are one club who have been heavily linked with Pogba in recent weeks. But they do not appear to be the only club interested in the French World Cup winner’s signature. As reported by Calciomercato (via ESPN), Juventus are dreaming of his return to Turin.

Could Pogba be set to depart Manchester United this summer?

There is definitely the possibility that Pogba could depart the club this summer with him in the final year of his contract. And if he was to leave though, the club would definitely need to sign a replacement for him this summer itself.

The Frenchman was one of the most important players in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team last season and on top form, there is no doubt that he is one of the best players in the entire Premier League. Thus, it is expected that the club would want to keep him at Old Trafford. Now, it remains to be seen what the future holds for the midfielder.

When it comes to central midfield, names like Eduardo Camavinga, Saul and several others have been linked with the club in recent times.
