Manchester United handed major Jadon Sancho transfer blow
Jadon Sancho appears to be Manchester United’s top target in the summer transfer window despite the fact that a move failed to materialise in the past.
The Red Devils had tried to bring him to Old Trafford last summer. But Borussia Dortmund were believed to be looking for a transfer fee in the region of €120 million back then, a figure that the Premier League giants could not match. As a result, Sancho remained at Signal Iduna Park.
The feeling is that a move is much more possible this time around though. And Manchester United have already made a couple of transfer bids for the English international. The second one is believed to have been over £75 million.
But the offer is not satisfactory for Borussia Dortmund yet. Patrick Berger tweeted out regarding the situation:

Can Manchester United sign Sancho this summer?
It does look like Sancho is near the top of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s summer wish list and it is not hard to see why. Sancho would be a perfect fit in this team.
There is not much depth at right wing at the moment, which is the reason why Mason Greenwood has filled in there over the course of last season. But his future lies more centrally. As a result, some one like Sancho could come in and immediately make the spot his own. The 21-year-old has proven himself to be one of the most effective wingers in the world ever since joining Borussia Dortmund.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with him in the past as well on a number of occasions but a move has never materialised for one reason or the other. It does look like this summer is the best chance that they have had of signing him till now though. Now, it remains to be seen whether they can get the deal over the line or not.
