Manchester United have been linked with a number of players over the course of the past several months as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are expected to strengthen the squad in the upcoming summer transfer window.

One such player is Jack Grealish. But it looks like Pep Guardiola wants the Aston Villa captain at Manchester City.

As reported by ESPN, Guardiola considers Grealish to be as important a target as Harry Kane. And Manchester City believe that they can win the transfer race for the English international, who is rated at £100 million by Aston Villa.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away for quite some time and it looks like there is a chance that it could happen in the summer.

Manchester United have been linked with a move for Grealish as well

According to stats from Transfermarkt, Grealish scored 7 goals and provided 12 assists in 27 appearances for Aston Villa across all competitions this season. And when on form, he is one of the best players in the entire Premier League.

Manchester United are one of the clubs who have been linked with a transfer move for Grealish in the recent past as well. But Jadon Sancho is believed to be the top target for the Red Devils this summer. And if that move happens then it would be very unlikely that they would make a move for the Aston Villa star too.

On the other hand, if Manchester City do end up signing both Grealish and Kane, or even one of them, it could be a worry for clubs in England as well as around Europe.

Pep Guardiola’s side were just a win away from securing a Treble this season. And if they add that kind of quality to their already world-class squad, they will get significantly stronger than they already are.
