Chelsea’s advantage over Manchester United in race for Bundesliga star
Manchester United are expected to sign a few players in the upcoming summer transfer window with the aim of strengthening the squad further and challenge for titles on a consistent basis once again.
A winger is expected to be near the top of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s wishlist. The Red Devils have very little depth on right wing at the moment. As a result, Mason Greenwood featured down the right flank for the majority of the previous campaign although his future is believed to lie more centrally on the pitch.
One man that they have been linked with in recent times is Kingsley Coman. The Bayern Munich star is capable of playing on both wings. And it looks like there is a possibility that he could be on the move this summer.
As reported by BILD (via Football.London), both Manchester United and Chelsea have been put on red alert with regards to Coman’s future. It is believed that he has told his agent Pini Zahavi to approach Premier League clubs regarding a summer switch.

Chelsea have advantage over Manchester United in Coman transfer race
Chelsea might have a few massive advantages when it comes to the transfer race for the Bundesliga winger.
Firstly, it very much looks like Jadon Sancho is the top target of the Red Devils in the upcoming transfer window. And it is believed that Borussia Dortmund will be looking for a transfer fee around €90 million for the English international.
As a result, if a move for Sancho was to take place, the club might not have the transfer budget to bring in Coman as well. Secondly, the fact that Chelsea have just won the UEFA Champions League could make them a more attractive prospect. Thirdly, Thomas Tuchel is expected to be more aware of the qualities having spent a large portion of his managerial career in the Bundesliga.
Coman is a terrific talent and is still just 24 years of age despite having already won an incredible amount of trophies through the course of his career. Thus, he is expected to get better moving forward and could prove to be a brilliant signing for any club.
