Manchester United has seen a change in transfer policy over the past couple of years. While the club have always been known for bringing through some of the most talented players in the world through their academy, in recent years, a lot of their transfer business has involved signing wonderkids.

These wonderkids have then been put in the club’s academy with hopes of developing them further and turning them into Premier League ready players over the course of a few years before giving them their chance in the first-team.

They are being linked with another promising youngster recently in the form of Kamaldeen Sulemana. The 19-year-old has been very impressive this season and it looks like he has managed to catch the eye of the Red Devils.

As reported by The Sun, Manchester United are ready to press ahead for the youngster with a £15 million transfer bid.

Sulemana could be a great signing for Manchester United

It is not hard see why the Red Devils would be interested in the teenager. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has made 27 appearances for FC Nordsjaelland, scoring 10 goals and providing 6 assists in the process of doing so.

Thus, it is clear that he is already playing at a high level and is only going to get better moving forward. As a result, the sky is the limit for someone like Sulemana.

But signing him would come with a risk for the Red Devils. The report from The Sun says that under the new post-Brexit transfer rules, Sulemana does not have enough points at the moment to gain a work permit.

That could change in the summer though if the Danish league climbs one place in the UEFA co-efficients. Or, Sulemana would need to make one more competitive appearance for Ghana.

The likes of Ajax, Bayer Leverkusen, Lyon and AS Monaco are also believed to be interested in the highly-rated youngster.
