The Premier League title race is finally over. Manchester United’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of Leicester City means that Manchester City have been crowned the champions.

With games coming in thick and fast and the Europa League final left to play for as well, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer decided to field a heavily changed starting XI. And while it looked like they could be in the game for quite some time, ultimately, it was Brendan Rodgers’ men who walked out with all three points.

Many would say that the Red Devils had done very well to keep the title race alive till this point of time and to be honest, they have. But the manner in which the title race ended does feel a bit anticlimactic.

Now, with top four already secured, the club’s focus should turn towards winning the Europa League.
