Paul Pogba has been playing some of his best football in a Manchester United shirt this season. He is one of the biggest reasons why they are currently sitting at second in the Premier League table and are in the final of the Europa League.
A massive worry for the club though is the fact that Pogba’s current contract is set to expire in the summer of 2022 and he is yet to agree a new deal.
Now, it goes without saying that the club would want to keep hold of the French midfield maestro for the foreseeable future. He is one of the biggest parts of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team right now and a huge reason behind the progress that the team has shown this season. And him leaving could cause them to take a step backward.
But the club might have no choice but to allow him to leave this summer if they are unable to agree a new deal with him soon. Otherwise, he will become a free agent the following summer. Amid all this, Mino Raiola floated the idea of a Paul Pogba-Eden Hazard swap deal as an example when asked about the possibility of the Frenchman moving to Real Madrid. As reported by AS, he said:
"“I don’t know. I think nothing is impossible, but football depends on the day. Just like that. And you need to be flexible to think about all the possibilities. What if tomorrow Madrid want to do a swap, Hazard for Pogba. It’s just an example. And it all four parties like it, why not?”"

Does Pogba-Hazard swap make sense for Manchester United?
It is safe to say that Hazard has not had a great time ever since moving to Real Madrid. He has suffered a series of injuries during his time with the La Liga giants and never managed to show his best form there.
According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 4 goals and provided 7 assists for the club till now. As a result, there are already rumours that suggest that Real Madrid could be open to the idea of parting ways with the Belgian superstar. But if Manchester United were offered the chance to swap him for Pogba, should they do it?
There are two ways to look at it. On current form, Pogba is the much better player. But we all know how good Hazard can be when fit and on form. His Premier League legacy is most probably bigger than that of Pogba. Thus, if the Red Devils are unable to agree a new deal with the Frenchman, there is an argument to be made in favour of the deal.
But on the other hand, it would be a huge risk on the part of Manchester United to swap the two in hopes that Hazard will be able to regain his form and fitness after two straight seasons filled with injuries.
