Manchester United’s approach for Juventus star rejected
Manchester United are expected to make a splash in the upcoming summer transfer window. The club have done very well this season, sitting at second in the Premier League table and have a great chance of lifting some silverware as well, as they took a massive step towards the Europa League final with a 6-2 win over AS Roma in the first leg of their semi-final tie.
The ultimate aim of the Red Devils would surely be to return to the top of English football and challenge for the Champions League on a consistent basis. At this moment, they are a few steps away from that.
But with the right recruitment in the summer, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side could be one of the best in all of Europe. And a right winger might be near the top of their wishlist.
Dejan Kulusevski appears to be someone that they are interested in. As reported by Calciomercato (via Express), Manchester United made an approach for the 21-year-old but it was rejected by Juventus.

Manchester United reportedly made an approach for Juventus’ Kulusevski
It is not hard to see why the Red Devils would be interested in a player like Kulusevski. He is one of the most highly-rated talents in all of Europe right now and has done a great job ever since moving to Juventus.
According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 6 goals and provided 4 assists in 41 appearances this season. Those are impressive stats for a player who just turned 21 and is already featuring regularly for one of the biggest clubs in the world. Thus, it should not come as a surprise that Juventus are keen to hold on to Kulusevski.
The youngster is very versatile and can play all across the frontline and even in midfield. He is still in his first season with Juventus and is only expected to improve going forward as he continues to develop.
